Dato’ Calvin brings over 18 years of experience in audit, tax compliance, quarterly reporting, business advisory, and Goods and Services Tax (GST). His remarkable career includes time at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he gained a wealth of expertise working across a wide array of industries including manufacturing, trading, plantation, property development, construction, services, food & beverages, retailing, information technology, entertainment and others.

 

Known for his deep expertise, Dato’ Calvin is actively involved in tax audit and investigation as well as handling directive actions issued by the Securities Commission and Bursa Securities Malaysia Berhad for public-listed companies in collaboration with Big Four auditors.

 

As an Approved Company Auditor under the Companies Act 2016 and an Approved Tax Agent under the Income Tax Act 1967, Dato’ Calvin’s extensive knowledge and leadership have made him a sought-after expert in the field.

 

He holds the honour of being the first Approved GST Tax Agent in the Southern Region, Johor under the GST Act 2014, which is granted by the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, he has served as a GST panelist at the National Budget Seminar, a yearly event for tax practitioners upon invitation by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.

 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dato’ Calvin is an independent director of a public-listed company and also alumnus of PwC Malaysia.
