Our Managers’ Retreat brought us to Henan, China. We were wrapped in the golden hues of autumn!
This is a place where ancient wisdom still breathes through its mountains, temples and historic academies. More than a retreat, it was a meaningful reminder of who we are today, and who we strive to become as #UHYSuperstars.
From the scholarly grounds of Songyang Academy, where Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism once intersected, we were reminded of the timeless wisdom. We then explored the Shaolin Scenic Area, walking among towering cliffs and breathtaking landscapes at Sanhuangzhai and visiting the Pagoda Forest and Shaolin Temple, where centuries of discipline and tradition came to life before our eyes. And the best part? Our very own UHY Superstar (spot him in the photos!) stepped up to a Shaolin challenge, followed the monks’ moves with confidence and earned their nod of approval, officially becoming our UHY “KungFu” Star!
Arriving in Luoyang, one of China’s great ancient capitals, we stepped into a world shaped by culture, leadership and innovation from centuries past. We experienced our Tang-inspired cultural evening with imperial banquet, traditional performances and even a fun makeover experience. At the breathtaking Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site carved with devotion over centuries, we stood in awe of artistry that transcends time.
