With over two decades of experience, Kong started his career in auditing and extended to roles in corporate finance and advisory. Before joining UHY, he began his journey as an external auditor at Anuarul Azizan Chew & Co. and subsequently served as the Managing Consultant of the Corporate Finance and Advisory Department at Anuarul Azizan Chew Consulting Sdn Bhd.

His auditing experience covered various sectors which comprised financing and banking, manufacturing, trading, servicing, investment holding, property development, construction, plantation and statutory bodies, etc. Kong has also been involved in Special Auditors (SA) assignments for various listed corporations, Reverse Takeovers (RTO) for PN4 companies and served as an independent advisor for Danaharta.

Beyond auditing, Kong has successfully navigated mergers and acquisitions, facilitated listings on the Bursa Malaysia and executed corporate exercises. Notably, he played a pivotal role as the manager-in-charge for the successful listing of Satang Jaya Holdings Berhad on Bursa Malaysia and MobilityOne Limited on the AIM Market. Additionally, he has been involved in investigative audits engaged for listed companies. Currently, he is the director-in-charge for all the Receivership and Liquidation assignments.
