Datuk Alvin Tee
B. Acc (Hons), CA (M), FCPA (Aust.), CPA (M)Datuk Alvin Tee PJN, B. Acc (Hons), CA (M), FCPA (Aust.), CPA (M), ATII. is the Senior Partner of our KL office. He is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Fellow, CPA Australia, Member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and the Institute of Cooperative & Management Accountants and an Associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). He graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Accounting. He subsequently trained as a bank examiner in Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), inspecting financial institutions under the purview of BNM and assessment on their soundness and solvency. Prior to joining UHY, he was a partner of Anuarul, Azizan, Chew & Co. (AAC) for 14 years and also the Partner-in-charge of the firm's Corporate Finance and Advisory Department.
Professional Experience
Datuk Tee was one of the Special Administrators appointed by Danaharta for a few listed companies. His exposure also includes RTO for PN4 companies, independent advisor for Danaharta, scheme advisor for PN4 companies, and is also Receiver & Manager for various companies appointed by banks.
Datuk works closely with his clients and specialises in assurance and advisory assignments with a strong track record in initial public offering ("IPO") and corporate recovery in licensed bank and finance companies, property development, manufacturing, shipping & travelling, stock broking and plantation. He has handled high level assignments such as advisory for bank foreign expansions and cross border assignments.
